The Southwest Section of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association is pleased to announce the second year of our Mentor Telemachus program!
Mentor Telemachus is designed to bring practicing professionals and students together in ways that enrich the quality of the student experience through face-to-face and e-mentoring interactions with experienced, practicing planning professionals. It is the intent of the program to be open to not only planning students but also those in related studies such as architecture, geography, public administration, etc. Additionally, the Section is seeking to improve our connections with colleges and universities across the region to work together to cultivate clear connections between classroom and practice.
Please see the MT Program Guide for additional details. Our 2019-2020 program included 25 students from four different universities.
If your institution, department, or program would like to participate in the program, simply respond to this email confirming a point of contact. We also kindly ask that you share the opportunity with your students! Students and recent grads are encouraged to apply for the program by September 15. We aim to launch this year’s program in the fall.
Feel free to share this information with applicable faculty and staff to share with their students.
